Consultation
Before your visit
You do not necessarily require a referral letter from your GP and can schedule an appointment directly with Dr Du Toit. Some medical aid plans do, however, require that you be referred to pay for the consultation (at your insured rate) - please inquire with your specific medical aid and plan.
After confirming your appointment telephonically, you will receive an email requesting your personal and medical aid details. We require this to create an electronic file for you and this will save time and paperwork on the day of your visit. Please send this back at your earliest convenience.
The email will also contain the Doctor-Patient contract which you can read in your own time and it will be made available for your signature upon arrival in the rooms. Read contract now
You will receive a reminder SMS the day before your consultation.
What to bring
ID and medical aid card.
Previous blood tests, any medical reports, Xrays, CT or MRI scans (preferable not only the report, but also the images printed or on a disc).
Previous hearing tests done by an audiologist.
A list of all your medications with their dosages.
If a child is not accompanied by their parent, please supply evidence of legal guardianship.
Make the most of your visit

If Dr Du Toit is running behind schedule, please be patient, as this means she is either attending to an emergency or spending extra time with a complicated or sick patient.
